Did anyone here land this signed 1929 Kashin last night? Really kicking myself for missing out.

Despite the bleeding and markup on the back, this is a great early sig of his. The “J”, the “F”, and the connected “Xs” are all consistent with pre-1930 when he was just starting to make a name for himself.

Still on the lookout for a M101-5...preferably with an advertising back.
But recent prices are making that more difficult.

Phil,

That card’s really Krapp. I’m sorry, I just couldn’t resist.

Nice card, for reals.

Ha! that's good Mono knowledge.

For those that might not know, Genes real last name is Krapp but the folks at Mono showed a little mercy and changed his name to Knapp. Can you imagine? Now pitching for Portland...Krapp.

Here is a fun one I picked up late last week. Only fitting since I’m so close to wrigley. Think I posted in wrong thread yesterday lol. Love these backs

Default 1925 Holland Creameries -- Senators

Most Hollands are beaters, but I'm still very happy to add this one to my collection.
I haven't picked up a pre-war card in a while, I'm getting the bug again.

I'd like to thank fellow board member Mark Rios for this card.
