Thanks for the heads up Derek,
I'm sorely dissapointed that I can't trust someone named Adams Randall, I imagine he's from some posh Connecticut family that can trace their lineage back to the Mayflower. Dreams die hard I suppose.... Last edited by Casey2296; 08-11-2022 at 09:20 PM. |

There used to be a Randall Adams that posted with some frequency on these boards. Thought it could be him, but without any verification from the Mayflower descendant, I couldn’t take that leap of faith.

That same donkey emailed me trying to sell me Hulk Hogan cards. I would always ask for a reference to be safe at this point. Too many trolls....

My family are members of the Mayflower Society, but we're definitely not posh and not from Connecticut.
![]() ![]() ![]() My wife is also a Mayflower descendant though she has never followed through with it or DAR. Her grandmother was the active one. Not too posh though father's family was from Connecticut and moneyed. - founded American Optical Co. and Old Sturbridge Village. Her great aunts house from CT is in Henry Ford's Greenfield Village in Detroit. I am just a working hump whose family landed in Nova Scotia in the 1630's.

It would be safer not to include one's email address in WTB posts.
Providing it enables a less than honorable member to approach without being tied directly to a username here. Through the forum, members when logged in can send a private message or email that is tied directly to their username. It would be nice not to have to take the measures for security, but it is better to do so and have more knowledge of who is being dealt with.
