In some of the early years of Goodwin the SP's didn't have any parallels, which happens to include most of the Civil War Generals. Grant, Lee, Sheridan, Sherman all just get the base card, which is kind of nice because they are cheap and great looking artwork.
His performance in the field was inconsistent but P.G.T. Beauregard had a better name than the rest and was the first real hero General of the war. Well, my Victoria album disappeared into the infamous Jamaica, Queens mail center. I've had several packages go there to die over the years.
