Love those Berk Ross cards. Great examples.

Gotta share this photo. The 4 is the new July pickup. I had seen these two pieces years ago and dreamed of finding one of them. When the opportunity came to get them both together I jumped at it. I am fairly certain these are the two finest signed 1953 Topps Mantles on earth

I call this:
Grafternoon Delight - feeling like you commited a crime, because you won a card at such a low price only because of the early, extremely-low-traffic time of day the auction ended.

It wasn't too long ago when I finally grabbed one of these awesome 1964 Koufax cards (showing him in action before 'in action' was a thing) in PSA 8 OC shape. Well, I was happy to get another one for a lot less than what the last few (with similar centering) went for, probably because the auction ended early in the day when no one was watching...

Default 1959 Bazooka's with Tabs!

Just got these two 1959 Bazooka's with tabs back from PSA. These are two of only six ever graded by PSA with tabs. Both of these are 1/1 and highest graded with tabs

Still have others of the SP's all with tabs to get graded which I expect some will get higher grades like Colavito, Sievers, Drysdale, Banks, Cerv, Fox, Jensen, Kuenn, Snider, Triandos, and Wertz

Will all find their way to an auction house or will be sold at the National

Whoa, nice 86 Topps!

And the Mantles. They're good too.

Only a $4 card, but Brooks is Brooks and he puts me at complete for the first 6 series, still got a lot of highs to get in. 1972 is probably the most expensive set to complete card by card vs. buying a full set, among the vintage Topps base sets.

I skipped my Heritage wax last year due to the print inflation and resulting horrible odds as $ inflation increases cost, but those horrible odds have sunk the secondary market prices and I got a full run of hobby boxes for like half of retail. 3 regular, 2 high number and 2 minors should produce full base sets and a majority of SP's. It's the closest I can come to ripping vintage packs, as nobody is selling 7 boxes of 1972 Topps in my price range. It's a 1972 day! Love the very 70's design. 70-72 and 75 I like, the rest of the 70's not so much.
