Question is that a 3d Effect or is casey mounted on wood? I go along with earlier post about them being similar to pennant winner / world series Black bats but they do look to have a small engraved plaque. Can you read what any if the plaques say? Clearly an award ceremony of some sort. The Yankees have held a Homecoming in the city after spring training for many decades might be from one of them.

It's a 3d effect (the two men are protruding about an inch from the background).
