Loved it! Also super special to see Maverick with my parents as well.

Back in 1986...my dad was a pilot in the AF and saw Top Gun in theaters with his squadron buddies & my mom (while pregnant with me).

Here we are in 2022... Seeing the new Top Gun Maverick with my parents... 35 years later lol

I didn't care much for Top Gun in the day. Tom Cruise and the endless grin is all I remember really. Not to knock Tom Cruise, in the right roles he has been a very good actor.

It’s amazing the difference in opinions here.
I thought it was a fantastic movie.
Probably better than the original but maybe not if you didn’t see or like the original.

as I mentioned I like the movie but I never would have guessed it would be almost a 1.2 Billion Dollar Movie world wide.

But then again Minions is approaching 400 Mill so the world is restoring the balance

Boy do I loathe the Minions franchise. I'm a bit shocked that Top Gun is doing so well, the original was great. I'll have to get around to seeing the new one when it's available to stream.

Tom Cruise sure looked good at Wimbleton today! He signed a deal with scientology...and he doesn't age!!!!

I haven't seen it yet...I hope to soon. I've heard nothing but good things.

I loathe it to but my daughter and her friends are all over it from outfits to doing and saying some of the goofy stuff.

Thinking of getting her drug tested. Sarcasm of course

Never underestimate the value of of drug testing your children.

It can reassure you, or help you address something before it is too late.

funny when people make a big deal about how much an athlete makes who has to compete everyday and can lose his or her job but when movie star makes 200 million for a few months of work..heck even if its a year...nobody cares about that...

Most movies I'd agree with this sentiment, but Top Gun Maverick warrants the financial reward. The training these actors and actresses endured to be able to create the realistic scenes deserves to be rewarded heavily. Tom Cruise proved he is the best at his craft.

right they worked very hard and the pay stinks... should of gotten 250 million...

people risk their lives in a lot of jobs that dont make 100k let alone 200 million.

free country can make what they want but funny how you can agree with sentiment and sometimes not agree....either all in or not.there is no in between imo.......

heck people dont want to work the MLB all star game because of their pay. (though paid by a third party vendor and not the Dodgers)...why is it the MLB all star game thats been in danger of being moved or labor strike etc....... since braves won the world series when last issue with this game..i guess it will be dodgers now.

they should move the all star game to Atlanta this year as the pay for labor for workers at the stadium is higher than what the workers want in the city of angels....

Its the American way and the system is set up and most people seem to accept it.
Each person should have the right to earn what someone is willing to pay based on their skills, their maketability, etc.

Sadly I am one that will not have to worry about that problem
