Default Best songs...

"Dirty Work" Steely Dan
"Dog and Butterfly" Heart
"I Only Have Eyes for You" Flamingos
"In the Heart of the Night" Poco

Hard to call them the "best ever", but they always make me pause to listen

Trent King

Huey Lewis & The News - Small World Part 2
Huey Lewis & The News - Slammin

Probably any HL&TN to be honest.

Also:

The Rippingtons - Weekend In Monaco (Live in L.A.)

I could go on and on listing late 80's and early 90's studio jazz that is just :chefskiss:

Good call with Huey Lewis. Side note: when the guy tells Marty he’s just too damn loud in Back to the Future that’s Huey Lewis.

Traveling Wilburys should get some love here too. End of the Line is just fantastic.

Oh yes, I am aware of that cameo, great stuff! I've been a big fan of HL&TN for years and saw them live in 2012. My favorite band of all time, by a long shot.

Here's my 'gotta sing along' list:

Lawyers, Guns, and Money - Warren Zevon
Carmelita - Warren Zevon
A Pirate Looks at 40 - Jimmy Buffett
Gypsies in the Palace - Jimmy Buffett
Crackhead - Kenn Kweder
Susie Said So - Kenn Kweder
Atlantic City - Springsteen
Jungleland - Springsteen
No Woman, No Cry - Bob Marley
The Weight - The Band
Allison - Elvis Costello
Time After Time - The Hooters (or the other one)
Girls Talk - Dave Edmunds
Bad Reputation - Joan Jett

and the one song that nobody on the planet under the age of 65 can not sing along to compulsively.....
Bohemian Rhapsody.
