Here’s an auction scan of a 5x7 glass plate negative I acquired at auction recently — 1914 Brooklyn Tip-Tops of the Federal League.

That's actually the 1914 Brooklyn Tip-Tops (usually called the Brookfeds that year). The 1915 team wore a uniform with a distinctive B on the chest, and were wearing those uniforms in an image published in a newspaper on Opening Day in Brooklyn, April 10th, so it is unlikely that they posed for a photo in their home park wearing their old uniforms prior to getting the new ones.

I've also included a dated newspaper image from 1914 for comparison.

The World-Series losing 1920 Brooklyn Robins with Zach Wheat, Wilbert Robinson, Moe Berg, and Uncle Robbie's famous, and awesome, dog with a pipe. This was owned by Gene Bailey, the guy on the right side of the photo.

You're absolutely right! Just edited my post so it's correct for future reference. Thanks for those two newsprint team shots as well. Those are great.
