Does that mean if there is a scratch or something else on the case or if the card is being submitted because it was classified incorrectly, that PSA will always re-slab etc. with the same original grade? I have several cards I would like to get re-slabbed for such reasons, but I worry whether PSA might simply decide whether to re-grade. Also is there a reduced charge for re-slabbing ONLY. Thanks to all

The reholder fee is $25 as long as the card is under $5,000. I guess in some cases (see the thread I just started about the Aaron rookie) they might not want to give it the same grade, but it's really just a transfer to a new slab not a grading process per se.

The identify of the card is not at all relevant, as someone suggested, unless you were asking us our opinion on if it would bump, which I do not think you did.

General advice is to resubmit raw. Getting a fair look at the card on a review or a crossover (i.e. card submitted in a holder) is unlikely. If you are concerned it might not regrade then leave it as is. If you ever go to sell, high grade examples always sell for a premium. I know I am not the only one to pay up for them.
