FYI,

Somebody on Ebay lifted my photos and appears to be soliciting this card there. They don't have it. I have the card right in front of me. All their other stuff is nudie photos.

Please report the listing if you see it, even though the Ebay report process doesn't even let you explain exactly what is wrong with the listing with their dropdown box procedures.

Reported. Presumably the account has been hacked as this seller has over 5,000 feedback. Rather unusual niche item for a scammer to do this for amidst their porn listings….

Yeah, by the wording it looks like they are soliciting to sell the card off ebay, but they have it listed as an auction. Fishy all around, and generally annoying.

Also, all the nudie pics are not listed in the adult section. They are listed in the "Collectible Pin-up" section.

Being they are relatively tame Playboy shots, I wonder it there is a distinction.

I'm not even sure it's a hacked account. Lots of recent feedback for the cheesecake shots from buyers.

I like how they cropped out the slab.

Upon a close inspection of these collectible pin ups of topless women and comparing them to my collectible boxing cards of topless men, I must wonder if perhaps we have chosen the wrong collectible.

Looks like he ended the listing. Thanks to anybody who reported it. Got word from somebody else who asked him a question on Ebay, that he's not selling it on Ebay. He was trying to sell it off site, or in a future auction with Heritage, and claimed to have an SGC 5. Why he was using my picture I'll never know.

Complicating things, is SGC's population report search engine is crap, and I can't corroborate if a (5) even exists for that card.

Wonder if anybody else has better luck with their pop report on this card.

The more I think of it, the more I think it was inspired by the movie "Sleepless In Seattle". LOL!

This is the wording of the description:

Quote:
"If you are the person who was interested in my Frank Gotch 1910 Kopek Cigarettes Card, please contact me !!!!"
only thing they forgot to add was:

Quote:
"If so, please meet me on the top deck of The Space Needle at Midnight of the Anniversary of the Frank Gotch vs. George Hackenshmidt match so we can exchange our contact information."
