I would do a $10 "Quick Opinion" on PSA/DNA or Beckett but you will need a very clear scan or picture to get an opinion. I personally think it is authentic but again the "R" in Roger looks funny. Maybe the card slipped in his hand as he was signing it.

Thanks for the responses. I appreciate it.

My friend also happened to show it to a well known autograph dealer, who supposedly has a connection at PSA who told him it was good.

Guess my 1st impression of it may have been wrong.

I do not claim to be an expert on Maris, but have done some homework when I purchased mine and also had the Quick Opinion done. One thing that really stands out to me on Maris signatures is that his first name from this time frame looks like he wrote Ragu. That stands out to me with this particular piece.

His autograph changed somewhat through the years, as most players autograph did. Here is one of his earliest autographs on a 1957 Cleveland Indians photo album. Yes, it has been certified by JSA. Please do a comparison, but keep in mind it probably changed between 57 and 61.

Here's my only Ragu for comparison, though it's a faded sharpie version. JSA for whatever that's worth.

The big ragu! Looks like the first R was slowly drawn. Unsure
