History of Professional Base Ball in Cuba, This is the name of the 3rd edition of Raul Diez Muro's book, this one from 1949, previously I showed the 1st from 1907 and the 2nd from 1908, of this one from 1949 two different ones were printed in printing material , the normal one with a large number of copies and another deluxe one, with very few, printed on quality and glossy paper, to give to your friends, I have both, but the deluxe one is a rarity, I have it with dedication and signature from Diez Muro, I've only seen the one I have in my collection.

1. Why did you have to tell me that there is a 4th Diez Muro. I thought I had the complete set at three (and thought I might have the only complete set in existence 2. Why do my copies look like they have run over by a truck and yours look like they were just printed yesterday |

I just wanted to chime in and say that this is one of the most interesting threads I've read and I've been here from the start -- when we "migrated" from the "Full Count Board" way back when.
I also want to be among those thanking Roland for sharing his collection, knowledge, and passions for these wonderful and still mysterious cards. I have only a few and are among the prizes in my collection. I hope to add to that small group. I think the first I heard about the Cuban issues was in an article in the Vintage Collector magazine, which was a high quality actual paper magazine back in the 1990s. Since then this board and some of members have been the best sources for learning about these issues. I guess what I'm trying to say is that this is the kind of thread that realizes the potential of this board and I'm just thankful for that.: ![]() |

Jason, I have been lucky enough to get them for a good price in good condition, now in photos you will see some, I show a photo of the books with dedication and signed by Diez Muro, one of them is from the regular edition and the other from the deluxe one, look at the difference in the paper, one is yellowish and the other looks white because it is made of good quality paper, the photos look better, see Ruben Foster and other in Havana Team.
