Nothing can be done except to break it our of the holder if you don't like the "altered" designation.
The screw down holder was the likely cause of the conclusion. The autograph and bat piece is the most important part of the card in my opinion so I would not worry about the technical grade of the card.

John nailed it, the paper has been pressed out by the pressure of the screwdown.
Common issue and why screw downs are somewhat archaic as a storage device. If they have the correct depth inset some people enjoy them, however the 80s - 90s style of just two flat pieces of lucite are a death knell.
