Been a little while since I`ve added anything to this, one of my favorite, threads. Picked up this early Mantle piece from our own B S T section, thanks Craig for such a smooth transaction Sir. Postcard is HUGE, 9 X 12 inches and in nice shape. Always on the lookout for affordable Mantle items and this fit my collection to a tee.

I'm absolutely floored after getting this one in-hand today. I had given up even believing that centered copies of this card existed.

Hi Gang:

I just picked up the below Manny's Baseball Land premium. This is listed as such on Kelly Eisenhower's site. He says year unknown. You can see it on page 5 in this link:

Yet looking at the top rated Mantle Master set on the PSA registry it shows a different pose listed as 1961. See also below in a PSA holder. I do not see this listed as Manny's in Kelly's list. I may have missed it.

So, my questions are

Are both of these Manny Baseball Land issues? Or is the PSA mislabeled or is Kelly's listing incorrect?

Any help appreciated

They are both Manny Land Baseball photos. The photo with Mick in a batter's pose came with the Manny Land Yankee team set. The other is listed as a 1965 issue by KeyManCollectibles.

There's also another Manny Land Baseball Mantle photo. It's basically the same photo as the one identified as a 1965 issue by Manny Land. But it has a slightly different cropping and it is attached to a Maris photo. It is 11 by 17.

However my photo measures the "normal' 8x10 not the 9x11 they note the 1965 Mantle is.

Does yours measure 8x10 or 9x11?

And another PSA anomaly, one of many that do not make sense to me, why is the 1961 Manny's on the checklist for the Mantle master set and not the 1965 Mantle from Manny's??
