Default Powers

Powers should get two asterisks as a 150-only, too, shouldn't it?

Jon

American Litho introduced the T206's in Spring 1909 with these 12 cards. I don't consider Powers as originally in the 150-only Series.....

Doc Powers would have been printed with 350 series backs (EPDG, OLD MILL, etc.) had he not suffered an untimely death in April 1909. This was a very unfortunate event
for the Philadelphia A's, and especially Eddie Plank. Powers was Plank's preferred Battery mate.

Default Powers

Re: Powers…..Hmm. That’s a thinker, Ted. Hadn’t heard that theory before, but I’ll take your word for it.

Do you agree that among the subjects with Sovereign 150 backs, there are 82 subjects with EPDG backs and that Pastorius is unconfirmed with an EPDG back?

Jon

You have convinced me that Pastorius is an EPDG no-print.

I have included him in my NO-PRINT checklist in Post #12.

100% disagree that Plank and Wagner were in the initial printing of the T206 cards.
