Thanks for posting! I'd love to talk with your dad! The Lajoie was actually dated 1936 and sold for $25k back in 1999. It was part of the Barry Halper Collection that was sold by Sotheby's. The signed Lajoie is in their catalog which you can get for a few bucks on eBay. The winner put it back up for auction the next year and Barry Halper bought it back and gave it to the Hall of Fame. You're right...I think there are about 100 Lajoie cards in all of the population reports. Of course, those are unsigned!  Marty S.
