I've never bothered with insurance, bacause I always thought you needed a receipt for it to prove the value. Is that true? I remember asking a clerk about it one time, when I was sending a card that I had pulled from a pack, 30 years ago. It might be worth $500 today, but unless you have your receipt for the 25 cents you paid for the card, you aren't getting anything. At least that's what the clerk told me. Is that really true? How do you establish the value of something like that?

Mine is my wiener dog, Moose. Here he is guarding my safe. This picture was taken early during the pandemic. I had to remove all the gold, silver, cards and guns to make room for the more valuable stuff...toilet paper, Lysol, hand sanitizer, etc.
