Just picked up a gamer of Giants' fan favorite Hunter Pence. A guy who deals in a lot of Giants gamers told me Pence and Brandon Crawford bats are very hard to find. My experience has borne that out. Other players from the Giants' 2010, 2012 and 2014 Championships are not nearly so scarce (e.g. Posey, Sandoval, Scutaro, Belt, Huff, etc). This bat has a production date of 1-18-2012...Hunter didn't get to the Giants until the trade deadline...but his autograph has an "8" with it (his Giants number) and there's an 8 in the cupped end, so I'm gonna say he didn't break this bat out until he got to SF.

I went to a ton of Las Vegas Stars (PCL) games when they arrived in 1983. McReynolds was killing it. John Kruk and the Alomar brothers, too.

Default Mail day!

Awesome pick ups for me this month.

A Mike Piazza bat, and I got my Bob Fothergill bat back from PSA. Had Fothergill for a while, but finally got around to having it checked out.

I wonder what the little scoring is? Maybe he was keeping track of his hits?

Nice couple of bats! Especially drawn to the Fothergill. You don't see one of those everyday. Is it from his days with the Tigers?

Default Fothergill

Hi Mark,

I believe that it is from his days with the Tigers. It has the baseline "1" in the "125", so I think I can narrow it down pretty good.
