I'm not a T206 guy but am doing a Piedmont portrait run, my biggest challenge is finding near perfect centering (OCD) and cards with substantial borders.

I'm down to a Drum on my Davidson run. I got the Broadleaf before it got out of sight (still $800-900 or so) and got the Carolina Bright when I bought a small group of them, long since liquidated. I think there have been four graded. Some of the other backs don't have many more copies but weren't that hard to find, but I have never even gotten a sniff of a Drum.

That WaJo is a beauty Phil. I too suffer from the centered, fat bordered T206 syndrome. LOL!

Beautiful WaJo Phil!

As far as challenges, I am doing a WaJo run of both poses. Focusing on portrait, finances are definitely an issue with Old Mill. I couldn’t afford one that finally came up a month or so ago even in lowest grade. Haven’t had much luck finding the Brown Hindu either. The other few I am missing I will get at some point once I have cash.

Default Tell us of your challenging experience(s) working on T206 runs

Hey guys,

Thanks for sharing your interesting stories here. Let's continue "running" this thread with more T206 runs. I'll continue this with one of my favorite....this 460-only Series McGraw.

American Lithographic divided the 46 cards in this Series in 2 print groups. This McGraw was printed in the Exclusive 12 group, comprising of 13 different backs. Here they are......

Default Wajos

Wajo Drum has eluded me, but I'm not stressing too much about it!

Well, Jay killed the thread, but I'll post in it anyway. I've started and given up on a ton of back runs, always deciding I needed the $ for another new pickup. THis Dubuc run is the only one I've finished. It was actually pretty easy. The Tolstoi is impossible, so when I got it, I considered going for the run. His story is very wild, fun player to collect so I figured I'd go for it. A lot of these fell into my lap, and also happened to all be in nice but affordable shape (other than my Coupon Type 1).

Currently thinking of finishing the Clarke Portrait, Walsh, and Jimmy Collins runs, but haven't started buying the common backs yet.
