Caveat emptor:
- the principle that the buyer alone is responsible for checking the quality and suitability of goods before a purchase is made. It's right at the top of the Buy/Sell/Trade sections. I had never heard that Latin phrase before, and had to look up what it meant. It's usually fairly easy to sort out when someone is legit. Personally, when I see a card for sale that I think I want, I do have to remind myself to slow down and just go over some basic details that help rule out some of those red flags. I've only been a member here for 6ish years, and I've made ~20 deals. Nothing but good things to say about the collectors here.
