Wow, congrats on the $5K+ ending price on the ticket stub! I am a vintage Red Sox memorabilia collector so I had my eye on the ticket, hoping I would be able to pick it up. I had no idea what sort of price it was going to bring!

The red seat is a famous story in Fenway lore, but wasn't memorable at the time in the way a World Series game might be, so it makes sense that there aren't many ticket stubs that were kept from the day. It'll be interesting to see if any others surface now, on the heels of this sale.
