Once in a while I will actually stoop to send some sort of low key insulting message to a seller like this.

Is the flip even visible on the back scan?

1. First sport memorabilia grading company in the 1900s. First screw down holder also. Love those 1900's screws.

2. Paid $100k for it 10 years ago. Yeah right.

3. Can't afford to keep it. How is that?

4. Money and time is very valuable. The card isn't.

I hope he writes back saying that it’s like his walleye batter or tomato sauce - top secret! But if he does send it, I really hope you share with the group. Can’t wait to see it.

If you look at the scan of the back of the Wagner card that is offered for sale, you'll see that the bottom has some severe rubs that remove most of the printed text. This would be where the "Factory" line of info would be. It does show the first letter of that line, which is a "T", not an "F".

On the back of a Wagner reprint licensed through the Wagner estate, with a facsimile Piedmont back, the first line there at the bottom starts with, wait for it... a "T". On those reprints it reads "TM/C 1995 THE WAGNER ESTATE, CMG"

Seems to me that after that instantaneously initial impression that it's a fake, immediately reaffirmed after seeing the back; and as if that isn't enough, for anyone still thinking that it just might be real... it isn't. I guess he shoulda rubbed some more on that line of print near the bottom of the back.

So, had it been real, what would it cost to get that graded by PSA? Surely not that 200k he mentions.

According to the PSA website, their highest level grading service is Premium 10, for cards that are valued at $250k+.
That grading service fee is $10k.
