I don't know if this is one of them, and it might be, but a few of the 1914 sets were never put into boxes of Cracker Jacks. Therefore they won't have the common staining. I believe they were presentation sets.

AH! Didn't know that. I know the 1915 set had a mail in option that allowed someone to get the full set.

I am almost positive 1914s did too. Randy Stuckmeyer (*RIP) had a set like that, I believe.

That is my understanding as well. But no way of knowing for sure unless there is some providence to check but usually there is not
Regardless Beautiful cards and going to sell for alot and make the seller happy (unless Reserves) as well as some buyer happy

I thought some 14s were discovered that had been taken from the factory by an employee back in the day, I don't recall there were sets like the 15, but someone can correct me if I am remembering that wrong.

In any case, I am always highly skeptical of CJs that look too clean, but that's just me.

I agree! Great looking cards Phil - I think the grader(s) must have been smoking crack the day they slabbed those.
