I used to think Cotto was very over-rated, because for all the hype he got, and he never really seemed very dominant.
I've reassessed. He's basically a short guy, with not much of a reach, who hung with and usually figured out how to beat, much more athletically gifted boxers. His resume is pretty damn impressive if you look at it, win or los, and his losses were usually against either very skilled boxers, cheaters, or when he was over the hill. |
