Nice Hobe Bill. Does anyone know what a Hobe is? Was he German?

I did read that ole Hobe once kicked Jack Hayden in the face during a game and both were ejected, becoming the first pair of teammates ejected for fighting, hahaha

He also committed 61 errors in a season! Furthermore, (and fittingly so) he committed the first error in World Series history fumbling a ball in the top of the first inning of game 1 in 1903

Note: Bowerman had a lackluster showing yesterday, so I added my beater above

Cheers

Like two siblings whose birthdays are close together, Bowerman and Ferris get to share the same birthday party scan.

Default Happy 149th Birthday Cy Seymour

In 1905 he won the NL batting title... leading the NL in Hits, Doubles, Triples, RBI's and Batting Average .377

Showing my double backrun in honor of his birthday.. one of the runs is fully complete with 21 total backs...the second run is missing the Red Hindu, drum, and blank back.... Its been a 10+ year project of mine... getting both Broadleaf 460s was a challenge.. the Red Hindu was very tough.. and there is only 1 blank back known.. The Drum was my #1 want card for the longest time before finally getting it last year.. another highlight in the pictures below are the 5 "Missing Color" Seymour Scraps..
