Default Question on 1989 Bill Ripken Sawcut - PSA?

I have a 1989 Bill Ripken FF error card with sawcut.

Do any of you know whether or not PSA will grade this card?

Not seeing any of these in a PSA, SGC, or BVG slab on eBay.

Thanks in advance

I have seen them in all 3 slabs and usually they just put the big A(authentic) on the label. Weirdly sometimes PSA and SGC will slab them and sometimes they won't. Have no personal experience with BVG.

I have one in a Global Authority slab labeled Authentic.

The only variations in the PSA Pop Report currently are:
Black Box Over Error
Black Scribble Over Error
FF Error
Scribbled Out in White
Whited Out Vulgarity

Maybe the Sawtooths were put under the "FF Error" variation?

They don't list them as sawcuts, just authentic because they will not authenticate the sawcut it self as being original. I have only seen a couple in PSA and BVG. I have seen maybe a half dozen in SGC slabs and a few more in GAI/Global Authority slabs.

Is there actual verification that Fleer itself cut some of the cards as part of taking them out of circulation ? If so has anyone claimed there is a legitimate way to distinguish them from later creations. I have one I bought many years ago but have never viewed it as a legitimate Fleer altered item

Yes they can be found in sealed packs. One fellow member has several of those packs.

I would say there are WAY WAY more home made ones out there than ones that left the factory that way. The rarer cards with sawcuts are almost always real.

Besides GAI and GEM - the only 'slabbed' saw-cut cards I've seen have been autographed. Cards with autos slabbed - PSA/DNA etc.

Most out there are real. Nearly all saw-cuts carry a lower value than non-cut. Not worth it to fake.

These cards were 'cut' or 'slit' to be marked for removal from sequencing into packs. Obviously, many slipped through. Cards that were removed were either trashed or backdoored into the market.

Then that's exactly like a regular FF with a cut out. So I'm not sure that's what the OP is looking for.

Yeah, these are legit - I, personally, have pulled some from wax packs...I also have a rack with an FF Ripken saw cut on top like the one Jon showed above.
