That Charleston, hope someone won it here. I was seconds away from winning, but got sniped. I ended up with the Dihigo/Wilson 1925-26 RPC.

Interesting, while Hakes closes on a lot by lot basis like most auctions now do, there is no rule that you need to get a bid in by closing time. So it seems to me that a lot of people lay back until after "closing time" to even make their initial bids.
Amazing Negro league stuff. I helped run up a few of them but was shut out on photos. Last edited by Snapolit1; 11-03-2021 at 07:22 AM.
