Congratulations on the Diamond Stars set!
I really like them, to the point where I am seeking the Master Set. Challenging but not impossible , since I think getting all the high numbers is the hardest part. You may consider that next :-) I only need Lazzeri to complete my base set. I didn’t want to leave a High number for last! Ironically Pie was my *first* high number. So congratulations on finishing, some might say you’re just starting LOL!

Great color on those. From someone in the early stages of building a set, congrats!

Bumping this because Brian helped me out with a Red Lucas 106 to complete my set. It took me over three years, and I don't know how long it might have taken me to pin it down without him. Thank you, Brian!
My cards range between SGC A and 5, and accounting for a few remaining ungraded cards by assigning them a 1 to be conservative, the average grade is 3.21, with an average HOF grade of 3.04. I suppose this is fitting since I started the set with an Al Simmons SGC 3. Here are a few of my favorites from this beautiful set. |

Thanks, Brian! I feel like this set was made for those SGC holders. The ones with nice color look stupendous.

Amazing coincidence! I just finished the set last month - and my last card was also Pie #99!
Are you going for the variations? I have many but not all of the obvious variations (its going to be hard to pony up for the second Greenberg though). I am debating whether to go for the full set with the duplicates by year. Maybe start in low grade to save some money. |
