As a centering freak, both pass muster to me. Only then do I look at the back, and the SGC wins there pretty easily.

It yawl look at the numbers in the poll they are almost dead even. And if I vote for the 6 it would be even (as of a few minutes ago). I haven't voted because I don't know!! And that is how I ended up with 2.

I'd choose the psa example due to stronger bolder image and perfect focus/registry.

The sgc appears to have a slight color shift and throws off the image detail just a bit, and washed out colors compared to the psa example.

But either would look nice in my binder

My SGC 4, which I've had since the late 1990s:

The PSA, by a long shot, if the images accurately reflect the color. It's a bolder image, and the back stock is less toned, in the images at least. The SGC is also a little off register (note the ear, cap).

In my eyes, corners and borders are there to 1) take damage and leave the image crisp and 2) hide the fact that cutting sheets isn't perfect. Image quality > border and corner wear, though these two are pretty similar their anyways. As a low grade broke loser collector, that the hobby doesn't care that much about the actual card image in general is a very nice thing.

As a sub topic, how about a poll of the T205 Tyrus with backs other than Piedmont or SC? I have one: a SGC4 with an American Beauty-Green. Sorry, as usual, no scan.

I chose the 4.5 with the caveat that it gets reholdered in an SGC flip. I think it presents some much nicer without the red and white billboard distraction.
