I would go the chargeback route.
Contact your credit card company and dispute the charge. Let them be your advocate

Open an "item not as described case". You will be able to return the whole works and he will have to refund you. Make sure you send it back as "signature required". He will open it and find that a card is missing, but he will have to prove it, but like you, he will have signed for it and he will have to refund you.

First, this is not a new scam , happened to me with a Gretzky rookie in 2006.
Second, I can't imagine Probstein would risk any negative publicity or legal action over $1100. Just isn't logical. Continue to contact, they are Sloooowwww , and usually the response is less than stellar, but it is likely an innocent mistake, imho. Good Luck. Thomas
