I wonder if this mark conveys that the pennant was manufactured using union labor; or, that it was sold by a vendor that was part of this union? I suspect the latter....

I.J.W.U. = Int'l Jewelry Workers Union.

I found a bunch of vintage pins and metal trinkets bearing this mark ... so, evidently some unknown novelty company once employed I.J.W.U. labor to make a number of products that included felt souvenir pennants.

I've seen a number of Disneyland felt pennants from 1955 through the 1970s, and I can't recall one bearing this mark.

I saw a reference or two online to the Jewelry Union, but didn’t have any luck finding much on it. Appreciate the input!

You guys don’t miss much, so I’m sure most of you saw the lot of 12 pennants that ended tonight. Definitely some condition issues but I think most could look better with a little love. The Rams is definitely a dye candidate.

If anyone did get that lot, let me know. I'm interested in the 49ers pennant.
