Well, I purchase a lot of these years ago that was sold as the complete set at 6 but that was clearly wrong. Based on the images shows above and the three I have that were not show in the 9 shown by Andypcl, we are at 12 known to exist. I'll try to dig up the images. Argpdt showed the Eddie LeBaron which is one of them. The other two are Don Hardey and Eddie Macon.

And all of these players played together in the 1949 season so there is a chance that this set was actually created in 1949. It would seem that if you were honoring the Player of the Week you would do that in the week(s) after the game they starred in.

So far I've only been able to track down one mention of a COP Player of the Week in the newspapers for 1949 but it aligns with what is on the card in terms of the game.

Also, COP only played 11 games during the season with two players chosen as player of the week for the San Jose game making 12 the likely total number in the set unless for another game multiple players were chosen.
