Yes great set. The best thing about the set is that is the year my Phillies won the World Series.

My first real foray into cards. I had Star Wars cards and some Burger King Yankees (I was a Mets fan). Now 1981? Topps? 6000 Ed Glynn cards? Donruss errors? The 81 Fleer Ow you are talk in’

Yeah 80 Topps though - classic

The very last set I bought as a kid. I wish I'd been more condition conscious. So many 7-8 Hendersons....

But I always wondered why the highlights on back of each card were from the 1978 season instead of the 1979 season.

This was the one year when I went crazy buying packs and cellos etc.. At the end of the season I bought 4 vending boxes. Still, couldn't make a complete set. Ended up with 12 Rickey Henderson rookie cards. All badly off center.
