It could also be of a college/university team (Columbia, Cornell, Colgate, etc); just guessing by how young the players look in the picture.

Possible. My only problem is not finding a single manager that looks anything like the one pictured here. The only one I found was Deacon McGwire, who managed Cleveland Naps between 1909 and 1911. Other than that, I havent found anyone else that resembles him as much.

The bald looking guy behind him looks like Terry Turner, who also played for the Naps in that timeframe. This is the only thing that makes sense to me right now, so I'm sticking to it until some more concrete evidence comes along. It does seem unlikely its Cleveland Naps, but there are most definitely some faces here that seem similar or identical. Whatever the case, I'll be glad to discover this, whether it be a college team or major league team.

I know it can't be but the manager in the suit resembles a bit Cap Anson. The C......Chicago?

There were dozens upon dozens of baseball teams from 1901-07 whose team name started with a "C". Between town teams, work teams, school/university teams, and semi-pro teams, the chances of uncovering what the actual team was are remote. I wish you luck. I would just enjoy it as a nice photo of an early baseball team. Linking it to a major league team and star players of the era is probably wishful thinking given the lack of any more clues and the number of possible clubs it could be.

Not Chicago. Logo was a little different. If major league club, the only team I've found it could be Cleveland. Otherwise, it's likely a university.
