Back is not showing up. Is there any more than "Roger" on the front?

Anyone else think that looks like Frank Grant seated on the left?

Back just reads postcard and has a place for one-cent stamp. Theres nothing else on the front that I could make out, other than the guy in the middle looking like Deacon McGwire. I did find a Roger Peckinpaugh who played for Cleveland Naps in 1910. McGwire was also their manager at that time

It definitely is a baseball team. It appears to be from 1901-7, which is the earliest period for real photo postcards. The pleated pants are turn-of-the-century era.

Any idea who it might be of? I've had others tell me it isnt baseball, which I didnt believe for a minute. I've noticed Chicago White Sox from 1901 and 1902 have the same or similar logo.

I'm doubtful that's Cleveland.

If you ever figure out what it is, I think you'll find its a 'city' team. Something like Camden, Columbia, Clifton, Canton... some city team not necessarily in a league.

I'm not ruling that possibility out. The only one I found it might be, would possibly be Camden, because logos are similar. Others didnt seem to have any that matched. Also, the manager doesnt look the same as in this photo. I honestly think it looks like Deacon McGwire in the photo of Cleveland. No other manager or owner I've found looks anything closer. I'll keep researching to see if I can figure it out. Its possible it's a city team, too, and is the more probable answer.

It could also be of a college/university team (Columbia, Cornell, Colgate, etc); just guessing by how young the players look in the picture.
