Picked this up at the Wilmington, MA show on Friday. It was one of only three I needed to complete my '47-'66 Exhibits. Now down to the '55 and '56 Yankee team cards.

Wow, when exactly was that card printed? After Dem Bums clinched the pennant, but before they won the Series??? Weird how they didn't wait a week or two and add "World Champions."

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.

From '48 to '52, the Exhibit team cards were marked "World Champions" and "National League Champions" (since the AL won the Series each year). For some reason ESCO didn't do team cards in '53, then from '54 through '56, they were marked "AL Champions" and "NL Champions." Doesn't answer your question, I know. And why not continue with the "World Champs/League Champs" format? Definitely weird, as you say.

Picked up a raw copy of "The Mick". I may try to grade it after all the hoopla around grading settles down.

I've been passively picking up some HOF rookies, if nice looking ones come available at fair prices, and I had to jump on this one posted in the net54 B/S/T area last week.

Very nice, congrats. Always thought that card looked great w/ the Rookie Cup trophy.
