How Much Are The Two White Lines Worth?

The card is beautiful and luckily those lines are off to the side. IT is amazing how much those lines or any imperfections can so dramatically affect the value of the card.
But it is a great card for any T206 collection

Apart from the white lines, with the current expressed centering obsession on this forum, I'm surprised that only one member suggests that this card is worth more than the average 2 and only if a Van Gogh is the buyer.

Buy the flip still rules I guess.

A card is only worth more than the grade if they own it. Then it has superior eye appeal and is worth 2 grades more than is on the label

I agree that a card is better than the grade if you own it.

However we have more than several members here who say they pay a premium for centered cards and in my experience they have.

Agreed. I always pay more for eye appeal. Often quite a bit more. Especially on higher-end cards.

In the last PWCC premier auction, there were two 1952 Topps Mickey Mantles that sold. One was a 1.5, the other was a 3.5. The 1.5 sold for more than the 3.5 entirely because of eye appeal despite the fact that it had a giant crease across Mantle's face.

Agreed Eye Appeal and Centering are big factors and also make it easier to flip if necessary with max dollar potential over other cards graded the same
