Thanks Adam. The cards are nice and I actually kind of like the CSG holders . I guess the Celtic green works in this case.

found this piece recently and had to have it. Never seen it before. Lots of wear on the seams. Basically, the mailer is a three-part that folds three times.

The address part with the Pollard (HOF) picture and the Cullom's Column is the outside.

Unfold it to regular paper size and there is a great Mikan image:

Unfold twice more and there is a three-sheet (four side) article on Mikan:

Dates to the pre-season of the 1948-49 NBL season, the first for the Lakers in what would become the NBA, 2nd year for Mikan.

Wow that Mikan/Lakers foldout is amazing. Thanks for sharing.

Got the seller image of my two 1972 Dr J's. SGC is grading tough, thought that they both had a chance for a slightly better grade. Bought them raw on eBay, so just glad they measured up and weren't trimmed.

Very nice to get a Dr. J without the elbow dot!

Yup! Some common print defects drive me crazy. I had a PSA 9 Shaq Topps Gold rookie with the "scratch" print defect, and it drove me crazy! I kept on looking at it.

I have been getting raw cards to eventually grade when things get cheaper. For basketball I have been getting a bunch of 1996 Topps 50th. I have a PSA 9 of this card already, but if I seem them in this type of shape, I won't pass them up. These are completely undervalued IMO, condition sensitive, lower POP than Topps Chrome versions, and will never hulk.
