I learned of a card show and went to see what it was all about, and I discovered that baseball cards existed long before WWII. Before long, I was hooked on pre-War cards almost exclusively. I encourage you to give a pre-War set a try, but be careful, you too might get hooked!
I would like to try some pre war cards out but I would have no clue where to start! At least I know a little about post war. Like you said, I have lived most of life under the rock that cards started after the war. Lol. After I get a little further down the road on this 56 set I might reach out to y'all to help try out some pre war.
