When you lay it out there like that, yeah the 52T Mantle isn't all that common and not near enough to supply the current demand, let alone future demand for this card.

Agreed. Especially when one considers that there are probably a few hundred at the high end of the spectrum that are priced out of range for most collectors, and another couple hundred that suffer from eye appeal problems that will make them unsuitable for any given collector based on whatever his preferences/peeves are. That leaves lots of guys competing over that number that is left in the center, so to speak.
