My best friend and I were at Yankee Stadium for this fun confrontation between Horton and Steve Hamilton in 1970.
Horton and the Folly Floater It was an amazing day at the ballpark. Bobby Murcer hit four homers in the doubleheader, someone heaved a huge firecracker that landed next to Ray Fosse behind the plate and it scared the hell out of everyone, especially Fosse, and Vada Pinson took exception to Stan Bahnsen's tag at home plate and they squared off and threw punches.
