MY ML Debut!
Interesting subject! Here's a DEBUT STUB from my 1st ever Major League game attended, in the Spring of 1953 at Ebbets Field in Brooklyn.
I saw Robin Roberts face Preacher Roe & the great Dodger lineup! It was quite a game, as I saw Jackie Robinson hit his 1st HR of the year. Game went back & forth, w/ the Phillies leading 6-5 into the bottom of the ninth. With 2 out & nobody on, Jackie walked & Campanella hit a walk-off 2 run shot to win it, 7-6! A heck of a game for a 12 yr old to see!
