I have this recollection of a dealer set up in a trailer about half way up that hill one year. Sorry to have missed this one, but September will be here before you know it.

It was AWESOME to meet and talk shop with so many fellow net 54ers. Thank you for stopping to say hello and chat.
I agree if attendance wasn't a record, I don't know when was! I had a great show both selling and buying. The crowd attending as mentioned was ethnically and chronologically diverse. I was so busy I barely had time to walk the floor. While I heard a couple of dealers complaining, most I spoke with did very well. See you in Chantilly and back in PA in September!

I've attended almost every show since 1981 and while not a record breaking crowd (compared to the George Washington Motor Lodge) it was certainly was well attended on both Sat. afternoon and Sun morning, which was a great sign. Dropped off some stuff to REA for consignment, and shopped around. IMO, there was a healthy mix of old and new stuff all over the room. I was disappointed that the grading companies weren't there and a few regular dealers, but it was good seeing some old faces back at the show.
Looking forward to the next one already. Bob |
