Fly those flags boys!
In memory of those who sacrificed for the freedoms we enjoy today in this country and oft take for granted. Grandpa Leonard who fought Hitler from Tobruk, North Africa all the way up the boot of Italy. Uncle Herb who did two tours as a Marine pilot in Southeast Asia and lost his battle with the demons that produced. Uncle Lew, 1 tour artillery fire base in the same war, didn't want to be there like so many young men but did his part anyway. My xwifes Uncle Chuck who disappeared at Tarawa and was never found. I'll remember you all, and thank you to every veteran that has served our great country. I'll be tipping a wee dram in your honor this weekend.
