Purchased raw during the height of the "Jackie Surge" for less than a PSA 1 would've been. Just got back from SGC today. I'm very pleased. (Apologies for the reflection of my hand)

Jeez, that’s a 3?? Yeah, the left and right edges are a little rough, but is there anything else that doesn’t show up in the photo?

It's a fair grade. The rough edge cut is normal on these, but there is a very light crease/wrinkle above his hat on the right side you can only see at an angle. But the card presents beautifully and has outstanding color/registration, so I think SGC got it right.

Seems harsh to me - if the rough edges are normal, then the only real flaw is a barely visible wrinkle, but that knocks it all the way down to a 3 despite being great in other aspects? For a 70+ year old card? It's like there's a competition to see which TPG can be the harshest now.

I appreciate the sentiment, believe me. But I've been hammered by PSA so hard lately that this 3 was welcome!

Default 1978 Burger King Tigers

I've had my eyes on this trio for awhile, but had not come across well centered examples of all three together until now. Very happy with this trio of Tigers rookies, from the 1978 Burger King Detroit Tigers Set - Jack Morris, Lou Whitaker, Alan Trammell.
