Yes, or at least I hope it would. Even if it's recurring, this one seems more like a print defect than some.

I still can't tell. Is this the small letters or large letters version? TIA

The other card I don't understand is #139 Babe hits 60 (pole/no pole). What pole?

You have to have the two different cards side by side to tell, there is a larger gap between the black box and the first C on the smaller letter version, and the smaller letter version is almost flush with the top of the black box and the furthest right point of the checkmark, the larger version letters are taller than the black box and the furthest right point of the checkmark.

Default 62 Topps #79 Ed Hobaugh
Has anyone noticed this variation on the back of the 1962 Hobaugh card? The red/orange printing on back has bled a bit. The E in Ed really stands out. I looked online and found only one other like it.

That's the same type of defect as the 1957 GENE BAKEP print error, those are difficult to get recognized.
