I found 4 axe heads on my property within a 25 foot diameter area.Only 1 axe head was mark US being for the Federal Troops during the Civil War. I am not far from the battle Kinston NC or Wyse Forks and skirmishers in the Snowhill and Greenville NC area the axe heads were authenticated. Metal Detecting is fun
