People have a right to ask for whatever they want on eBay. At least this particular seller is selling a real card with real value (albeit not $1.5M lol). The ones that really tick me off are the numerous listings of '89-90 Ken Griffey Junior ungraded cards for $3 grand and say stuff like "RARE!" or "GREAT INVESTMENT", or the folks that sell fakes as authentic, or try to skirt the line there. Those guys are the real scuzz balls because they can potentially prey on ignorant people with moderate bank accounts. |

This thread is playing right into the listing's game. You do something like this to get attention. You probably aren't really looking to sell the card but it brings a ton of eyes to what else you're selling. When people are talking it's good for business. If the consignor approached me to sell his 1.5 million dollar card I'd be glad to put it up just so anyone stopping by checks out my other items.
