Mostil had an incident in his career where he seriously slashed his wrists and almost died over an affair with Red Fabers wife, allegedly.

I saw something about a suicide attempt. Didn't know it was that. I guess he forgot about bro's before ho's.

This Elysian Fields picture is a print of the original Currier & Ives Lithograph (1866).

It was reprinted from the original by the Sidney Lucas gallery in NYC (circa 1930's).
