3 Michael Jordan cards and a Garbage Pail Kids card in the first 10 lots. The hobby sure is changing. I did place bids on several Prewar lots.

Yup, word usage has become very strange in this country.
An Encore comes after the main act, a secondary small offering to gain further praise from the audience.

Then again, this is the land of lucking out being good fortune instead of lucking in....so, there's that.

I am really curious to see how the market handles this influx of supply. I have participated in all of the big auctions in the last 6 months or so, but I have not seen the amount supply coming online now. this is my first year witnessing the spring auction surge, and it is pretty amazing to see all the great cards available.

I know everyone jokes about a bubble, but some of the things I have seen most recently tell me we might be topping out, at least on some of the key cards I collect. I am not a believer in a crash or anything like that, but i see a lot cards moving up on razor thin demand. Ive been the #2 in a field of 2 a few times, which gives a good view of the inside market. In any market that can be a toppy sign.

Good observation. Sell into strength, as prices move up you will see a lot of older collections being released to the market to meet demand, once that demand is met prices will settle back a bit. A good time to re-calibrate your collection.
